M. J. Barley Hopper’s Exterior and Lighting

Working with Impact’s architects I created the entire interior and exterior for the showcase property in Centro Ybor as well as the expansion location in Brandon.  The project revolved around the fictitious M. J Barley Hopper who travelled the world in search of good beer.  The exterior included elements such as the cool wall sconces as well as etched glass and exposed neon signs.

The custom wall sconces were possibly the coolest feature.  Designed as a globe with M.J’s arm bursting through holding a pilsner glass.  Both the globe and glass were lighted.  The interior versions of the lights included bubbles in the beer.
